The Chadwick Cross Country Team started the season in September and have run many miles on various courses. Coach Jenny Gardner said, “I’m very proud of our student athletes. They strive to run their best race at each and every meet. I’m very excited to see what is to come in the last half of the season.”
The final three meets of the regular season will be October 15 at School of the Ozarks, October 18 at Fordland, and October 24 at Ava. The varsity boys will then move on to run in the District Meet, which will be held at Lamar on October 29. Sophomore Evan Smith is hoping to potentially repeat state qualification, while senior Gavin Herd is hoping to 3-peat.
