Come One, Come All!
Each year Chadwick PTO sponsors an annual school carnival to raise funds for the school. The week starts off with a choosing a King and Queen candidate for each class. Then the race is on to earn as many points as possible! There will be an honorary Elementary and High School King and Queen for the classes who have the most points. Penny Drive
For two weeks classes will have an opportunity to gather as many pennies as possible. Each penny is worth 1 point. The elementary class who earns the most points will be rewarded with a pizza party! For the high school class who wins, PTO will match the dollar amount up to $50 which will be deposited into their class account. Theme Baskets
Each class will chose a fun theme, provide a basket or container, and then bring in goodies to fill the basket. These baskets will be auctioned off during the carnival. The baskets are due by October 2nd. Other Point Opportunities
October 7-9th, classes will have have the opportunity to earn more points by bringing in specific items specified on the points list. Wednesday October 7th is the day for groceries, Thursday, October 8th is designated for crafts and homemade items, and Friday, October 9th is deserts day. Please refer to the points list for the items that PTO will accept for points. To receive points, items must be brought in by 1:00p.m. on that day.
The carnival will be on Friday, October 9th. This year’s theme is “A Night Under the Big Top—Chadwick Style!” It will start off with a chili supper at 6 p.m. The doors will open in the Craft Room at 6 p.m. also. Games and booths will start at 6:30, followed by the crowning of the Kings & Queens at 9:00p.m. During the carnival ceremony, male candidates wear a minimum of dress slacks and collared shirt. Female candidates will wear a semi-formal gown. Carnival is a great fun-filled activity for the family and we hope you can attend!
All proceeds that are raised from the carnival benefit the Chadwick School. We appreciate your support of our school!
